Amanda Hartwig, President/Founder
Amanda is a Certified Pastor and lover of Jesus! She is a mommy of three, a Certified Grief Support Specialist through UW Madison, and an Author. She thrives on making everyone feel seen and heard. You will likely see her at every event that we have, and she does a lot of background logistics too! She is on the other end of the crisis calls and facilitates our support groups. She is truly on call every day, and her phone is always on.

Wayne Hartwig Jr., Vice President
With us since our founding, Wayne Hartwig Jr is one of our veteran team members. He brings his years of experience and skills to the forefront in helping our organization grow and succeed. Being a loss father, and Bo's daddy, he shows the importance of not stuffing or silencing his grief and shares the importance of being able to express it. He cohosts our Adult Support Groups.

Nikki Russart- Secretary
Nikki serves as Secretary of the organization, bringing a deep personal connection to the mission in loving memory of her son, Maverick. Gifted with compassion and fueled by a strong desire to make a difference, she is dedicated to supporting families who feel lost and alone in their grief. You’ll often find Nikki and her husband, Anton, volunteering at events and fundraisers, always ready to lend a helping hand. Bo’s provided vital support to Nikki and her family in the days following Maverick’s loss, and her service today is a heartfelt way of giving back to the organization that helped carry them through the hardest season of their lives. Nikki also serves on the Volunteer, Fundraising, Financial, and Programming Committees.

Christina Plummer, Treasurer, Financial Committee Chair
Christina is a CPA and she keeps all of our books in order. She volunteers her services in loving memory of her nephew, Blake Aaron Lieders and cousin, Brandon Groh.
She is the Financial Committee Chair and serves in the Volunteer Committee. Our Beloved Veteran Board Member! She works so hard keeping everything organized and she is always doing it with a smile on her beautiful face!

Ashly Steger, Board Director
Ashly joins us and serves with us in honor of Blayke Jo Steger, her daughter and Jack Jones Steger, her beloved son. She works for the Boys and Girls Club of Fond Du Lac and she truly has a heart for service.
She serves on the Fundraising and Financial Committee. She is often trying to find partnership opportunities and relationships with other nonprofits!

Sara McMahan, Volunteer Coordinator & Rainbow Box Coordinator
Sara makes the drive all the way from Oshkosh to serve on our board and she does it in honor of her best friend's son, her nephew, Delton! She's an amazing team member and the sweetest lady, you will ever meet!
Sara serves as the Volunteer Chair for the Volunteer Committee, and she is on the Fundraising Committee. Sara has newly taken over the Rainbow Box Coordinator position and she is rocking it!

Dawn Walston, Fundraising Coordinator
Dawn joins us ready to serve on the Fundraising Committee and the Volunteer Committee! She has been a volunteer with our organization for a few years now in the capacity of set up and tear down for events and being our favorite Elf at our Christmas Event. Dawn is also our Thank you card volunteer, so if you have received a thank you card from us, it was likely written from her! We're so grateful for her!

Sophia Reynolds- Fundraising Committee Co-Chair
Sophia volunteers with Bo’s in loving memory of her son, Callahan Anthony, and her daughter, Winona Grace. Honoring them through service, she believes in choosing love, presence, and compassion in a world forever shaped by their lives. With a lifelong commitment to service and a professional background in nonprofit work in Washington County, she brings both experience and deep empathy to her role. Having navigated profound loss herself, she is passionate about supporting families through their hardest moments and helping them feel less alone. Volunteering is an integral part of her grief journey, offering space for both remembrance and hope. As Co-Chair of the Fundraising Committee, she is dedicated to helping families find a way forward—one shaped by both loss and love.

Julie Seitz, Board Member
Julie volunteers in loving memory of her beloved niece, Bristol. She gives to many different events and programs within our organization!

Sue Mitchell-Metz, Volunteer
Sue volunteers in memory of her beloved son, Ryan Mitchell, who died by suicide. She is a Death, Dying, Grief and Bereavement Specialist. She volunteers at our Children's Groups and in other capacities throughout Bo's. we love you, Sue!

Wayne & Laure Hartwig- Honorary Board Members
Wayne & Laure Hartwig are Honorary Board Members and you will often see them at lots of events for Bo's! They are Bo's grandparents and they honor him, and their other sweet grandson, Wil who is also in Heaven! Laure is our designated Birthday Card Writer & Wayne Sr is our Designated Santa Claus at our Christmas Event!

Carla Wojahn, Honorary Board Member
Carla has served for years with our organization. In loving memory of her sweet daughter, Candace Wojahn, her granddaughter, Alia and great granddaughter, Aria.

Meet our Board
Coming together from a beautfiul variety of backgrounds and experiences, our skilled team of volunteer board members are the backbone of Bo's Heavenly Clubhouse working diligently behind the scenes. Individual ideas help shape the direction and mission of our organization as it continues to develop and grow. We are always looking for new board members who are committed, loving and willing to make a change in the community and in the lives of the grieving. If you're interested, please contact us. You do not need to be a child loss parent to be on our board. We appreciate all walks of life and if you haven't experienced the death of your child, we just ask that you have compassion and a heart for serving.
